I am beginning my second year in Bellevue Community Schools and my fourteenth year in education. Last year, I served as the assistant principal of Bellevue Elementary School and this year, I am pleased that I will be the Elementary Principal. Before becoming a Bellevue Bronco, I had the opportunity to spend twelve years in the School District of Lee County, Florida, where I was a middle school science teacher, soccer coach, testing coordinator, teacher leader, and instructional coach.
I grew up in Ortonville, Michigan and received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University. I obtained her Master’s degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment and I am currently working towards earning my Michigan School Administrator Certificate.
I believe that building positive relationships is the key to learning and growing, and I look forward to continuing to build this culture in Bellevue Community Schools. I have boundless energy and strives to keep students at the heart of my decision making.
My husband, Noah and I live in Battle Creek with our two boys, Burk and Lloyd. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.
